Join the Rush to Crush Cancer Classroom Challenge!
The Rush to Crush Cancer Classroom Challenge is a fun and competitive program where 6-12th grade students pedal toward a world without cancer! This program allows students to participate in Rush to Crush Cancer at a reduced cost while learning to work as a team and give back to their community. Teams will compete against other Pittsburgh area school teams to see who can raise the most money for cancer research before the deadline! The winning team will be recognized at the 2025 Rush to Crush Cancer ride weekend opening ceremonies and will receive exclusive prizes.
Here’s what the Classroom Challenge offers:
🏆 Compete for the Cup: Form a team and race to raise the most funds for cancer research Before May 16, 2025! Recommended team fundraising minimum: $500.
🏆 Team Spirit: Build school pride and work together to make an impact in your community.
🏆 Exclusive Prizes: Raise the most funds and win a commemorative plaque, a celebration at your school, and more!
How to Participate:
👉 Form a Team: Have at least 5 students from grades 6-12 (ages 12+) to join the fun!
👉 Register by May 9, 2025: Have each team member sign up for the 15-Mile Ride, Virtual Ride, PNC Mile to Crush Cancer Walk, or as a Fundraiser/Volunteer. Registration fee: $25.
👉 Get Active & Fundraise: Register team members and work together to raise funds for cancer research. 100% of your team’s fundraising goes to UPMC Hillman Cancer Center.
👉 Team Captain: Each team needs a staff member or volunteer (21+) to lead the way.
